Things are heating up for the rental industry, as the 2024 ARA Show will soon return to a crowd-favorite location, New Orleans.
The Big Easy is set to host the world’s premier equipment rental trade show from Saturday February 17th to Wednesday, February 21st.
This will be the show’s 10th occurrence in New Orleans and the first since 2018.
Beyond its famed music and culinary scene, New Orleans will enrich the experience with tailored educational sessions, networking opportunities, and the unveiling of new products in equipment rentals at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, occupying Halls D-J.
As usual, the event will draw professionals from various sectors, emphasizing the ever-growing importance of lifting and access equipment in the rental market.
Lifting and access companies will be offering show specials and will announce/launch new products at the show.
On Monday, February. 19th, ahead of the show floor opening, Jon Taffer, the creator, host and executive producer of the hit TV series “Bar Rescue” will deliver a keynote speech to attendees.
After his speech, the exhibition floor, a focal point of the trade show, will open to host more than 650 diverse exhibitors until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21st.
Major manufacturers and suppliers will display the latest advancements in aerial work platforms, telehandlers, tires, batteries, rental software and other lifting and access specialties.
Special attention will be given to showcasing eco-friendly and electric models, highlighting the industry’s commitment to reducing carbon footprints and embracing green technology.
A critical component of the ARA show is its educational program, tailored to address the unique challenges and opportunities in the rental sector.
On Sunday, February 18th, industry experts will conduct rental-specific education sessions on a range of pertinent topics, including safety best practices, workforce development, leadership strategies, and social media.
These sessions will provide invaluable insights into navigating the evolving landscape of the rental industry.
Networking events at the ARA Show are especially crucial for professionals in the lifting and access field.
These relationship-building opportunities include: the ARA Young Professional Network Reception, the Women in Rental Breakfast the ARA Foundation Charity Auction, an ARA Industry Awards Luncheon, and more.
These sessions will offer platforms for rental companies, contractors, manufacturers, and other industry stakeholders to forge new connections, exchange ideas, and explore potential collaborations.
Lift and Access editor Katie Holt will be at the show to talk about the latest trends, products, and industry insights.
