Altec has completed its acquisition of Teupen Maschinenbau GmbH, a designer and manufacturer of backyard aerial devices since 1977. With a reputation for excellence, Teupen's products are crafted in Germany and distributed worldwide.
This strategic move significantly broadens Altec's global presence and perfectly complements its existing array of products and services tailored for utility, telecommunications, tree care, and lights and signs sectors.

Teupen's products will be made available to customers across multiple industries served by Altec. In the United States, Teupen North America, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, will handle imports and service. Martin Borutta, the former owner, will continue to lead operations in both the U.S. and Germany.
