CM Labs Simulations, global simulation training provider in the construction and utilities industries, has partnered with Altec, a leading equipment and service provider for the electric utility, telecommunications, contractor, lights and signs and tree care markets.
The collaboration will create and provide Altec-branded simulation training systems designed to help organizations offer instruction for the digger derrick and preparation for operator certifications.
The first product release from the collaboration is the Altec Sentry Simulator, offering a training solution for their digger derrick that allows increased machine practice time with decreased operating costs and minimal risk.
The Sentry simulator also includes preparation for CCO (formerly the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators) crane certification exams.
The Perfect Fit
With a global footprint, CM Labs is a leading provider of construction industry equipment training simulators.
Chosen by organizations such as John Deere, Manitowoc, and Tigercat, the company’s white-label OEM program provides manufacturers and dealers with solutions customized specifically to a specific brand, equipment, and applications.
“CM Labs and Altec are well matched – both are committed to the safest operator training possible, especially when it comes to the Digger Derrick,” said Lisa Barbieri, CM Labs VP of marketing and strategic partnerships.
Barbieri continued, “Because we provide the only digger derrick simulation in the market and CM Labs’ virtual training is the only simulation-based solution that accurately replicates machine behaviors, the result is industry-leading training.“
