Delta-Q Technologies (Delta-Q), a leader in battery charging solutions for electric drive vehicles and machines, announced that it will showcase its new lithium-specific battery charger, the ICL1200, at The Battery Show 2017.
The Battery Show will be held at the Suburban Collection Showcase in Novi, Michigan from September 12-14, 2017. Attendees are encouraged to visit Delta-Q Technologies at booth number 1518 to view their new lithium charger.
This new 1200-watt charger is sealed, lightweight and designed to optimally charge lithium systems of any lithium battery chemistry (e.g. NCA, NMC, LFP and LTO) between the range of 36-57V. Suitable for electric vehicles including scooters, low-speed vehicles, boom lifts, automated guided vehicles, sport and utility vehicles, this charger provides original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) with flexibility in design and deployment.
“Battery technologies have been shifting and our battery chargers are designed to meet the evolving needs of our customers while providing reliability and long-term performance. The new ICL1200 is a perfect complement to our OEM customers as they incorporate lithium technologies into their products” says Trent Punnett, Delta-Q’s Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Product Management.
Key features include CAN communications to seamlessly integrate with a vehicle's battery management systems (BMS), and compliance with UNECE R10 and touch-safe voltage regulations, which ensures the ICL1200 meets European electric vehicle standards.
Following all Delta-Q’s chargers, the ICL1200 also has a wide AC input range to be used on any single phase electrical grid around the world, and has an IP66 rating to protect against dirt and fluids, while its mechanical design and component selection resists vibration, shock and temperature extremes.
Delta-Q Technologies is now accepting sample requests for the ICL1200.
