GMG, a 2018 LLEAP award winner with headquarters in the U.S., announced it is entering the Australian market to directly sell its full line of electric slab scissors, rough terrain scissors, and boom lifts.
GMG USA has established a fully owned subsidiary, GMG Platforms Australia Pty Limited, to offer sales, training, and product support. The company appointed Martin Eade as its sales manager there.
“We participated in the Australian Hire show earlier this year in order to get a feel for the acceptance of our machines in the Australian market and were very pleased with the outcome, especially the excitement of our Overhead Warning System (OWS) that is incorporated in our I-Power control system,” said Jim Tolle, GMG CEO. “We are excited to appoint industry professional Martin Eade as our sales manager. Martin brings with him many years of (MEWP) experience and is dedicated to complete customer satisfaction, an important element of GMG’s success.”
GMG recently won two gold LLEAP awards for its 1530-ED Micro Electric Scissor and another for its I-Power control system. GMG’s electric machines also feature a fully integrated OWS, can transport on gradients up to 45%, and have a full two-year warranty.
