JLG Introduces Upgraded 519 Telehandler for Modern Jobsites

JLG Industries, a leader in mobile elevating work platforms and telehandlers, has unveiled the redesigned JLG 519 telehandler. An evolution of the G5-18A model, this updated machine offers enhanced features to boost productivity, improve operator confidence and lower total cost of ownership for today’s demanding jobsites.

“The 519 will be a valuable asset for rental companies, commercial and residential construction firms and independent contractors, like masons and homebuilders, working in pick-and-place applications that require precision handling of jobsite materials,” John Boehme, senior product manager, JLG said.

With a 5,500-lb lift capacity, 18-ft 7-in maximum lift height, and 10-ft 10-in forward reach, the 519 introduces key upgrades, including an optimized load chart, advanced control system with Load Stability Indication and improved serviceability with 44% fewer hydraulic components. Powered by a Deutz 2.2L diesel engine, it delivers up to 20% better fuel efficiency.

The telehandler features a redesigned cab with optional air conditioning, a multifunction joystick for greater control and enhanced diagnostics via ClearSky Smart Fleet technology. Its universal skid steer adapter supports versatile attachments, while its compact dimensions ensure excellent maneuverability.

"The new JLG 519 telehandler exemplifies our commitment to customer-inspired innovation and productivity-enhancing features," Boehme said.

"These updates give our customers the versatility, performance and technology they need to excel on today's jobsites."
