LGMG recently introduced two new articulating boom lifts: the diesel-powered AR80J and the eco-friendly, lithium-battery-powered AR80JE.
The AR80JE stands out with a working height of 87’ 3”, setting a new peak for the series.
The series now offers models with working heights ranging from 36' 1" to 87' 3", giving customers a broader selection.
Both the AR80J and AR80JE have a maximum horizontal outreach of 59’ 1” and an up-and-over height of 28’ 11”. They feature a spacious platform that's 8’ long and 2’ 11” wide, designed to hold up to 551/772 lbs. This means they can carry more materials and comfortably fit up to three people, subject to restrictions.
These lifts are equipped with a robust four-wheel-drive system and a continuously adjusting axle to ensure powerful and smooth operation. Their design includes a maximum tilt angle of 5 degrees and a 45% gradeability, enhancing grip and stability on uneven terrain.
Operators can choose from three steering modes for optimal maneuverability: four-wheel, crab, and front-wheel steering.
Additionally, the booms offer a convenient one-touch wheel alignment feature.
The AR80JE is particularly noteworthy for its high-capacity lithium-ion battery, which operates cleanly, without emitting pollutants. It also boasts a unique feature that allows it to pause operations on slopes, enhancing safety and control.
LGMG says it will offer its customers operator and maintenance training on these new machines.
