Manitou has introduced the MLT 1040 agricultural/multi-purpose telescopic loader to the North American market. This machine offers the highest maximum lift height of 31'6" and longest forward reach at 21'6" in the MLT Series.
Designed for agriculture, the MLT 1040 is ideal for larger commercial farms for jobs like mixing feed, hay handling, dropping tires over silage bunkers, manure handling, material loading and hauling, and other heavy lifting tasks at high lift heights.
The all-new MLT 1040 is built similarly to the 137-hp MLT 840 model, but has a three-section, full-power boom and 7 degree frame handling in either direction for load stability on uneven ground.
Other standard features the comfort ride control boom suspension system, and a deluxe cab with heat, defrost and A/C. Limited continuous auxiliary flow allows hydraulically powered attachments to function without holding the joystick control down, and the Manitou JSM (Joystick, Switch and Move) single joystick control contains directional drive, boom, and hydraulic functions in one location. Agricultural high performance tires and an auto-reversing fan to automatically clean out engine debris during operation are also standard items..
