Palazzani Industrie Hosts University of Brescia Engineering Students for Hands-On Training Day

Palazzani Industrie recently hosted a training day for fifth-year engineering students from the University of Brescia’s “Design of Operating Machines” course, providing them with hands-on insights into the design and manufacturing of operating machinery.

The event began with a warm welcome from Paola Palazzani, the company president, who introduced the students to Palazzani’s history, growth and its commitment to safety, technological innovation and sustainability. Her presentation underscored the company’s leading role in the Aerial Work Platform industry and its ongoing contributions to the global market.

CEO Francesco Zola guided the students through a comprehensive tour of the company’s production process, showcasing how raw materials are managed, assembled and tested to ensure top-quality standards.

Zola highlighted Palazzani’s focus on precision, with each production stage carefully monitored by a specialized team using the latest technologies. A notable part of the tour included an interactive session with Palazzani’s technical team, who explained the design and development of the company’s signature Spider Lift, emphasizing safety protocols and international standards compliance.

The day concluded with a live demonstration of the XTJ 52+ Bi-energy Spider Lift, showcasing its intuitive controls, impressive boom reach and safety features. The visit offered students invaluable practical learning from industry professionals, while Palazzani Industrie saw it as a valuable chance to connect with future engineers and support educational growth.

For both, the event strengthened the link between academic knowledge and industry application in the evolving field of machinery innovation.
