Visitors to Platformers Days exhibition in Germany can see the additional innovations that Ruthmann has been working on culminating in the launch of two new T-series models truck mounted access platforms: the T170 and the temporarily named T3XX.
In May 2015, Ruthmann launched the successor of the popular TB 270 and the new HEIGHT performance Steiger T 480 at Intermat in Paris, France.
At the upcoming Platformer’s Days trade show, the German manufacturer will be introducing a T-Steiger - temporarily named the T 3XX – especially suited for equipment rental companies. Ruthmann will be disclosing the specifics of this new aerial work platform shortly before the trade show commences.
The second innovation is the T 170. This new Steiger model, with its 17m working height, is ideal for power utility companies and municipalities. It is also designed for vehicles with a 7.49t GVW (gross vehicle weight).
Customer input was once again an integral part of the design and development process. Both models, for example, are available on a wide variety of trucks. There are also many different types of work-baskets to choose from for all kinds of assignments. At Platformer’s Days, visitors will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the new features on these two new machines.
Both of these new models will come equipped with Ruthmann’s new cockpit. The new information and control unit in the basket has been developed over the past few years. The “Ruthmann Cockpit” will soon be available on every new Steiger model. Ruthmann will provide detailed information on the “cockpit” – its features and operational benefits – at the upcoming trade show in Hohenroda, Germany.
