Sinoboom, a global leader in aerial work platforms, has appointed Dr. Tim Barnett as product manager for its telehandler division. This move reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation and customer-centric design within its recently introduced product line.
Dr. Barnett, who holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and a PhD in Knowledge Management, brings over 20 years of international experience in the heavy machinery sector.
His expertise spans engineering, new product introduction, product testing and development and product life cycle management. Dr. Barnett also has a strong track record in sector and customer mapping, along with extensive experience in team building and mentoring for successful project delivery.

Dr. Barnett’s role will focus on aligning product development with customer needs, both current and future. His leadership is expected to drive innovation in telehandler design, ensuring that Sinoboom’s products are efficient, intuitive and responsive to market demands. The company also aims to enhance manufacturing efficiency and operational performance on jobsites under his guidance.
