Sinoboom Unveils MEWP Innovations

Sinoboom, a company in the aerial platform industry, hosted an International New Product Launch and Experience Session at its Changsha headquarters.

With the theme “Aim Higher, Unlimited Future,” the event showcased an extensive lineup of next-generation and updated mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) models to over 140 international customers, setting the stage for Bauma China 2024.

Guests also toured the cutting-edge Sinoboom Intelligent Manufacturing Park, witnessing firsthand the company's advanced production facilities and innovative processes.

Sinoboom Chairman Steven Liu welcomed attendees with a speech underscoring the company’s commitment to excellence and innovation. Liu highlighted four principles driving Sinoboom’s success: superior performance, excellent manufacturability, attractive design and convenient maintenance.

Presentations from key executives, including Director of Product R&D Simon Sun, showcased the company’s global research and development strategy, which combines world-class laboratories and localized manufacturing to address market-specific needs with speed and precision.

A highlight of the event was the unveiling of 18 new and updated MEWP models, introduced by Peter Peng, Head of Product Planning, and Mitch Ely, General Manager of Sinoboom Australia.

The showcased equipment ranged from lightweight articulating boom lifts like the AB10J and AB22J Plus to the TB42(E)RJ Plus telescopic lift with its innovative X chassis design for cost-effective transport.

Compact solutions like the VM05EL vertical mast and eco-friendly options such as the 0808E ALL scissor lift impressed the audience, alongside advanced technologies like 360-degree tank turn capabilities and the Panoramic Camera system for enhanced operator safety and efficiency.

The event also featured a preview of the company’s latest telehandlers and spider lifts, designed with a focus on agility, transportability and operational ease.

Ian Pratt, managing director of the New Product Division, highlighted Sinoboom’s customer-centric development approach, emphasizing robust safety features and ergonomic designs.
