Tadano is expanding its product offerings in North America with the launch of a new Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) series for the U.S. and Canada.
This launch follows the company's successful growth in the crane market and builds on its recent acquisitions of Nagano Industry Co., Ltd. and Manitex International.
The new MEWP lineup will feature both wheeled and crawler chassis configurations, designed to enhance safety, stability and productivity across diverse jobsite environments.
These machines are built to provide maximum platform stability and versatility, offering a solution for industries requiring reliable lifting solutions in challenging terrains.
“Tadano’s growth in the Americas has been extraordinary over the last several years, and while our crane market share is very strong, we saw an opportunity to complement that success with additional product lines,” Erik Elzinga, Tadano Americas vice president of AWP business development for Pan-America operations said.
“Tadano has a long history of aerial crawler work platform expertise in Japan,” Elzinga added. “The opportunity is to take our experience and apply it in the Americas.”
