Xtreme Manufacturing is up-rating its new XR6538 rough-terrain telehandler into the XR7038.
Introduced at ConExpo 2014 as the Xtreme XR6538, the machine has since undergone full testing and has been up-rated to a lifting capacity of 70,000 lbs. That is a 5,000-lb. increase in lift capacity, from the initial ConExpo specification of 65,000 lbs, and further cements its position as the largest capacity rough-terrain telehandler manufactured in North America.
The XR7038 has been designed by Xtreme's in-house engineering team for mining, bridge construction, and pipe handling applications, plus any jobsite where there is a need to lift and move heavy loads.
Weighing 115,000 lbs. unloaded with 38 ft of lifting height, and featuring 6.5-ft. tall foam-filled tires and a 24-ft. turning radius, the XR7038 is a real alternative to small cranes, especially as it can pick and carry a load.
It is powered by a Cummins 300-hp. Tier 4 Final engine, and has a 150-gallon fuel capacity; designed to reduce refueling frequency.
Like all Xtreme telehandlers, the high specification XR7038 benefits from heavy-duty steel construction and quality Xtreme-approved components for long working life. The machine is backed by Xtreme's industry-leading 10-5-2-year warranty.
It features a fork-positioning carriage as standard with forks weighing over a ton each. The machine also comes equipped with Xtreme's unique boom lift point, suspension seat, rear-view camera, electronic engine monitor, and long-life boom rollers for smooth operation.
The XR7038 is available in three configurations – open cab, closed cab with heat, and closed cab with heat & AC. Customers may further customize the machine by selecting from a comprehensive list of options.
Now available to order, the XR7038 is an affordable, convenient solution for a wide range of applications. The Xtreme XR7038 is the ‘swiss army knife’ of the jobsite.
Xtreme Manufacturing produces a comprehensive line of telehandlers currently ranging in capacity from 5,900 to 70,000 lbs.
