Skyjack Introduces New Micro-Scissor Lifts: SJ3213 and SJ3219

(Sponsored Content) -- In early 2024, Skyjack announced the launch of their new micro-scissor line with the SJ3213 micro and SJ3219 micro. This new range represents a significant new choice in the low-level access arena.

The micro-scissor range remains simply reliable, combining low cost of ownership with Skyjack’s renowned product support. Fully proportional drive and lift controls offer superior drive with more efficiency, controllability and improved torque, while variable speed brushless AC electric front wheel drive provides exceptional duty cycles. With over 25% gradeability climbing loading ramps is easy and excellent all-round job site performance and maneuverability is achieved.

With E-Drive, Skyjack’s focus on improving productivity and reducing lifetime maintenance expenditure improves cost of ownership and gives users more in several key ways;

·       More return on investment with maintenance free brushless AC electric drive motors.

·       More runtime per charge with less power consumption and lower battery maintenance.

·       More sustainability with zero leakage drive motors for clean operation.

·       More flexibility and utilization with low GVW and wide non-marking tires providing low ground pressures and help protect finished flooring.

·       More control with spring applied, electrically released brake.

·       Tight steering angle provides excellent jobsite maneuverability.

·       Fully proportional drive and lift controls.

·       Minimal maintenance on wheel motors.

The newest micros have been designed to fit most passenger style elevators and work in environments where space is at a premium while still providing a substantial work area. Key features of the latest micro line include:

  • 13- and 19-foot platform heights.
  • 500-pound platform capacity.
  • AC electric drive performance.
  • Fits through a standard door (rails up).
  • 20-inch rollout extension to increase work area and provide up and over capability.
  • Low GVW fitting into standard elevator.
  • Low floor loading.
