Acme Lift Co., Mesa, Ariz., has added a fleet manager and a rental coordinator to its staff.
The company's new fleet manager, Greg Richards, will handle the purchasing and selling of Acme Lift’s equipment, and will be responsible for its analysis and care while it is in Acme’s fleet. He has more than 30 years’ experience in inventory control, sales, supervision, operations, marketing, and purchasing.
Chelsea Myrick, the new rental coordinator, will work with Acme Lift’s rental team and customers in putting the company’s fleet on rent. She has been in and around the rental business most of her life.
“Greg and Chelsea bring a wealth of talent and experience to the Acme team,” said Mike Crouch, Acme Lift president and chief operating officer. “This will bring a higher level of attention to detail that our customers demand. I’m thrilled that they have decided to join us.”
Before joining Acme Lift, Richards had been corporate parts control inventory manager at Kirby-Smith Machinery Inc., Oklahoma City, Okla., since 2011.
Richards worked at H&E Equipment Services in Phoenix from 1990 to 2011. He was corporate parts operations and inventory control manager from 2006 to 2011, branch parts manager from 2002 to 2006, and general parts manager from 1990 to 2002.
Richards had previously worked at Empire Southwest in Arizona, starting in parts counter sales in Mesa 1986, then working as a product support sales representative in Tucson from 1988 to 1990.
Myrick comes to Acme Lift from BlueLine Rental, formerly Volvo Rents, where she worked from 2012 to 2014. She was a branch manager in the Denver metro area and a sales coordinator in Bakersfield, California.
Before that, she worked as a sales and rental coordinator at Pape Material Handling in Salinas, Calif., from 2011 to 2012; as a rental manager and sales coordinator at Pape Machinery in Eugene, Ore., from 2007 to 2009; as an accounts receivables associate at The Pape Group in Eugene from 2006 to 2007; and as a rental and service coordinator and senior rental department administrator at Pape Rents, formerly Diamondback Rental & Sales, in Phoenix from 2002 to 2006.
