Acme Lift Co. has named 35-year equipment rental industry veteran Mike Crouch president and COO.
“I am really excited to have Mike come aboard and think he is a perfect fit for Acme Lift as we begin to build and grow our company into the future,” said Woody Weld, chairman and CEO of Acme Lift, which features the biggest and latest aerial work platforms. “Mike has incredible depth of experience in every aspect of rental operation, plus his knowledge related to the growth of rental companies and the integration of mergers and acquisitions make him a very valuable asset which will help drive Acme Lift’s future plans.”

In 2002, Crouch became vice president of Volvo Rents Europe and a member of the company’s European management team. In 2004, he returned to the United States as vice president of operations for North America. For the last three years, he was Volvo Rents’ vice president of business development, focusing on mergers and acquisitions as the company expanded to 132 locations and into a national rental company in less than two years.
