Air-tow Trailers, La Verne, Calif., has opened of a new factory in Wapakoneta, Ohio. The plant, Airtow's second manufacturing site, is part of the company's plan to drive the continued growth of its trailer business and expand further into central and eastern United States.
"Our successful growth has fueled the need for additional manufacturing capacity. The Ohio manufacturing facility will allow us to dramatically increase our production efficiencies and enable us to continue to serve our customers better than ever before from the leading market position that we hold today,” said Travis Townsend, sales and marketing manager. “The new location will facilitate and expedite our ability to respond proactively to customer needs.”
Airtow Trailers manufactures drop-deck trailers in lengths from 8 to 16 ft. and load capacities from 3,200 to 12,000 lbs. They are frequently used by contractors, electricians, safe movers, vending machine movers, landscapers, aerial lift users, and others needing the safety and ease of a non-tilting, ground-level-loading equipment trailer.
