ALL Family Adds Nine Terex Cranes to Fleet | Construction News

The ALL Family of Companies has purchased nine new Terex cranes to answer the call for increased construction of bridges and related work across the Midwest.

The newly bought Terex cranes include two Explorer 5500s (140 USt), a new all-terrain crane introduced by Terex last fall, and the most compact AT Terex has produced; two AC100/4L (120 USt) 4-axle all-terrain cranes, the shortest five-axle crane available, with a carrier length of only 36 ft.; two HC 110 (110 US crawler cranes, part of a special bridge builder package; two HC165 (165 USt) crawler cranes, also part of a bridge builder package; and one T560 (60 USt) hydraulic truck crane, with excellent highway speed.

Most of the new cranes will be based at the company’s Cleveland headquarters yard, to be used for bridge work in Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and surrounding states. The truck crane will reside at Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental in Wisconsin.

“Terex is doing some really amazing things,” said Mike Garrity, manager of new crane sales. “We’re excited about the drivability of the Explorer series, but also love that the units’ upper and lower assemblies are powered by a single engine. This innovation reduces operating costs.” Garrity explained that the ALL Family of Companies is a tier-one Terex dealer in five states, including Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. “As a rental leader, we love to expose customers to the brands for which we are a dealer — there’s no better advertising.”

“This entire package is made up of city-friendly machines that are compact and easily transported,” said Garrity, “These units are excellent for construction, particularly in bridge repair, disassembly and rebuild projects taking place all over the Midwest.”

ALL is a crane rental and sales company with 37 branches across the U.S. and Canada.
