The Crane Institute of America will offer the opportunity to earn certification at the Association of Crane & Rigging Professionals’ 2009 Workshop & General Assembly, to be held Oct. 12-14 in Woodland, Wash. The exam will be held Oct. 14 at 7 a.m.
Participants can earn Crane Institute Certification for basic rigger/signal person for $99. The price includes written and practical exams. Interested candidates for crane operator certification may also take the CIC Practical Exam for the ACRP rate of $300 per exam, plus a $55 scoring fee at registration. Crane and setup will be provided at no cost to ACRP members.
Written exams for crane operator certification will not be offered during the ACRP conference.
