Founded Sept. 25, 1963, I&I Sling management, sales, and fabrication recently celebrated the company's 50 years. In those 50 years the I&I Sling, the original Slingmax dealer, has grown to 100 employees with six full-service rigging shops located from Massachusetts to Florida.
The event was held at the company's headquarters in Aston, Penn. with keynote speaker founder Dennis St. Germain Sr. delivering a detailed slideshow that covered little known facts about previous and current employees, customers, and products.
“I’m overwhelmed to see how far this company has grown from its humble beginnings," said St. Germain. "Since my retirement 6 years ago, my sons have continued this growth and I’m excited to see how far they will take it.”
I&I Sling is the first sling manufacturer in the world to produce high performance fiber roundslings and is one of 10 learning centers for the Rigging Institute LLC.
