Link-Belt Construction Equipment Company, Lexington, Ky., is pleased to announce the appointment of Corey Rogers to the position of regional sales manager for Latin America. In this newly created position, Corey will be responsible for the Link-Belt Crane activities in Central America, South America, and the Caribbean.
“Corey is a 15 year veteran of the construction equipment industry with experience that includes sales and training positions in the Latin market. His strong understanding of the diversity and unique cultures of this region will be of great value as we continue to grow and expand our Latin American market presence,” said Roy Burger, manager, international sales.
Other new personnel include Chris Erwin, who has been named product technician for hydraulic cranes in the Link-Belt product support department. Erwin is a 23-year veteran of Link-Belt, beginning in 1989 at the customer service warehouse and subsequently working in hydraulic truck crane assembly and as an assembly mechanic.
Tony Hatton also has been named product technician. Hatton is a three-year veteran of Link-Belt and has significant experience with large machinery and as a service technician, having served as an associate hydraulic crane technician previously with Link-Belt. He has completed a broad-based Link-Belt training program and in his new role will be responsible for support for Link-Belt’s full line of hydraulic cranes.
Finally, Casey Smith has been named publicity coordinator for Link-Belt Construction Equipment. He will be responsible for handling the company’s communication to trade press, distributors, and Link-Belt customers. Smith comes to Link-Belt with public relations experience in the manufacturing industry providing product accreditation, media relations, and site content for product manufacturers. His background in both interpersonal communication as well as customer relations makes him an asset to the communications team at Link-Belt.
