Two experts from Milwaukee Cylinder, a leader and innovator in hydraulic and pneumatic actuation, will speak at the Fluid Power Technology Conference on June 21-22 at the Milwaukee School of Engineering’s Kern Center. The conference is hosted by Fluid Power World.
Douglas Lacina, global marketing and engineering leader, and Pete Frymark, product engineering manager, both from Milwaukee Cylinder, will host a technical discussion and presentation on three topics relevant to the tie rod cylinder industry.
The topics include “High Temp NFPA Hydraulic Cylinder Solutions,” “NFPA Hydraulic Cylinder Solutions for Safety Applications (SIL3 Certification),” and “RFID for Tie Rod Cylinders.” Milwaukee Cylinder will also be exhibiting at the conference with a booth staffed to discuss products and applications.
“It is always important to keep up to date with industry experts,” said Lacina. “This forum is a great opportunity for hydraulic cylinder users and designers to learn and discuss new topics and their specific applications with our technical team, as well as from other vendors.”
Milwaukee Cylinder’s presentations will cover problems associated with operating hydraulic cylinders in high-temperature environments and solutions available to effectively operate a hydraulic-cylinder system in a high temperature condition.
Attendees will also learn about Safety Integrity Level (SIL) certifications and how SIL applies to hydraulic cylinders. The presentations will also highlight the latest innovation in hydraulic cylinder maintenance and asset tracking with use of Milwaukee Cylinder's new-to-market RFID solution.
