Man & Material Lift Engineering, Cudahy, Wis., has added two new products to its extensive product lineup. The 450AJI is an electrically insulated lift designed for use where electrocution hazards exists, such as working on electrical wiring. The lift can be utilized where bucket trucks are currently used but provide the capability of driving when the bucket is elevated and can be moved more easily around plants and construction sites.
With a working height of 45 feet and almost 25 feet of horizontal outreach, the 450AJI is well suited for a variety of markets including plant maintenance, construction, and tree trimming. The machine has a platform capacity of 500 pounds and a gross vehicle weight of 14,500 pounds.
MLE also offers a new fall arrest system that allows operators the ability to walk outside the platform to do such work as aircraft painting, truck and train repair as well as many other uses. The system is designed and tested in accordance with OSHA Personal Fall Arrest Systems: 1926.502(d) -1926 Subpart M App C Boomlift Testing.
