PM North America, Rolling Meadows, Ill., has introduced Oil & Steel’s EVO 2300 compact tracked lift to the North American lifting market.
The new model offers all of Oil & Steel’s typical features: compact design, light weight, easy maneuverability, and no boom tailswing. Stowed, it measures just 3'2" wide, 20'0" long, and 7'1" tall. The tracks can be extended hydraulically and independently to a maximum width of 46 in. for extra stability during travel. It weighs just 6,600 lbs.
Although compact, the EVO 2300 offers 66-ft. maximum platform height, 38-ft. side reach, and 440-lb. unrestricted platform capacity. The platform is rated to hold two workers plus tools. The swing system provides 360° continuous swing.
The articulating boom features a double-pantograph lower section with a telescoping upper section and an articulating hydraulic jib that performs vertical movement from -85° to +60° and a horizontal maximum rotational movement of 90° on the right and 90° on the left. In addition, the basket can also rotate 90° side to side, making it possible to reach around corners or reach complex work locations.
Booming and swinging are operated by electro-hydraulic proportional controls, whereas travel and stabilization have electro-hydraulic controls that are not proportional.
The 15-hp power plant can be a gasoline- or diesel-fueled engine. A 110V-220V electric is also available for working exhaust-free indoors.
