PulseTech Products Corp. introduces the SC-6, a six-station HD recovery charger designed to recover, charge, maintain and desulfate from one to six 12-volt lead-acid batteries.
Designed primarily for managers of smaller fleets and commercial shops, the compact and portable recovery charger works with any 12-volt battery type, including VRLA, AGM, gel and flooded cell. Each of the six charging stations operates in isolation, allowing any combination of battery brands or types to be recharged simultaneously.
The SC-6 is able to recover the majority of batteries that are thought to be dead and useless and return them to pristine condition, saving money that would have been spent on new batteries.
The SC-6 has six independent channels that profile the condition of each battery and then automatically cycle through a recovery and charge process that applies the correct charge (variable up to 6A) and PulseTech¹s optimized high frequency, patented Pulse Technology waveform to each battery. This advanced technology removes sulfate crystals from the battery plates, increasing the battery¹s ability to accept, store, and release energy, extending battery life up to five times.
Five LED indicators next to each cable connection show the status of each battery channel. With a one switch control and progressive, easy-to-understand LED information display (battery disconnected, bad battery, recovery charge, pulse charge, charge complete), the SC-6 is both easy to use and understand. With only one switch to turn the unit on, there are no additional dials to set and no possibility of overcharging or overheating the batteries, allowing peace of mind and minimizing time spent monitoring batteries.
The flexible, replaceable cables fit in the case for easy storage. They are easy to disconnect and safely move to the next battery since no current flows through the cable until connected to the battery.
The SC-6 carries a one-year warranty.
