Advanced Industrial Marketing (AIM) was recently appointed the official representatives of Alliance, Ohio-based Winkle Industries in northern Indiana, enabling AIM to offer more products and services to its customers in the material-handling industry.
Headquartered in Noblesville, Ind., AIM reaches clients in the steel, aluminum, automotive, scrap and wind technology industries and represents the Austin Company, Daykin, Rees Controls, Gleason Reel, and several others. With the new relationship with Winkle Industries, AIM will offer above- and below-the-hook lifting devices, mechanical and electrical crane products, ground-mounted material-handling equipment, and aftermarket services. AIM’s association with Winkle also allows the company to offer LiftTech industrial services.
According to Rob Hruskoci, president of AIM, what brought about the company’s partnership with Winkle was the their mutual relationship with Nucor Steel’s sheet mill in Crawfordsville, Ind. “Winkle found out about us through our No. 1 customer, Nucor Steel, which just happens to be one of their customers as well,” he says. “Our combined visibility is what really brought us together. Now customers like Nucor Steel can contact us for all their needs, making us their one-stop shop.”
AIM is a hands-on, application-oriented sales organization, Hruskoci says. “With two electrical engineers on staff, we’re very proud of being able to use that expertise to deliver the features and benefits of the products and services we represent in an educated, knowledgeable manner to our customers," he says. "In addition, we are very proactive in developing new web-based strategies and technologies to bring our partners’ products to market. By year’s end, our new company website will feature the latest cutting-edge technology to enhance our sales force.”
