Advanced Overhead Crane Services, Crosby, Texas, has been awarded a three-year, $1.8 million contract by the City of Houston to inspect, maintain, and repair overhead cranes and hoists for various city departments.
The contract is to perform OSHA inspections on all the city’s overhead cranes and hoists and will include complete preventive maintenance, emergency, and repair services. Richard Wehrmeister of Advanced Overhead Crane Services said the equipment is spread out among 65 sites throughout the city, which includes city departments such as public works, the fire department, and aviation.
