ALL Canada to Receive New 600-ton AT

The ALL Family of Companies announces the purchase of the second largest all-terrain crane manufactured today—the LTM 1500-8.1. Only Liehberr’s LTM 11200-9.1 at 1,300 tons surpasses the 1500-8.1 in size and power. With a rated capacity of 600 tons, it is the second largest mobile crane in the rental company’s fleet. The eight-axle crane has a seven-section telescopic boom that extends to 276 feet.

With the lattice jib, the Liebherr can reach a hoisting height up to 476 feet at a radius of 354 feet. The addition of a Y-guying system gives support to the boom, adding remarkable load capacity, particularly when lifting high but at a short radius.

“This crane has an incredible chart and adds muscle to our Canadian yards—a territory that’s hungry for such a beast of a crane,” said Michael Liptak, president. The crane will go immediately to work at ALL Canada Cranes & Aerials, serving its three yards. “Our Canadian operation has expanded with two new yards—a second one in Ontario and another in Newfoundland and Labrador. We recently were awarded some major projects, making fortifying their fleet an easy decision.”
