Allied Power Products, Beaverton, Ore., recently announced the addition of two new manual trolleys that make it possible for the company’s Columbia hoists to be used in overhead hoisting applications. Constructed with a low-profile arrangement, the trolleys allow higher hook heights and accessibility in areas that cannot be reached with a conventional overhead hoist.
Offered with a variety of wheel configurations, the trolleys are suitable for straight and curved I-beams with bend radii as small as four feet. Manual, chain, and powered positioning systems are available.
Additional trolley options include stainless steel and spark-resistant components for virtually any type of sensitive environment. The trolleys can also be provided in an ultra-low profile arrangement for dual I-beam applications.
