Altec Industries, Inc., has announced the company's Creedmoor Manufacturing Facility in Creedmoor, N.C., has achieved four million work hours with no lost time injury or illness. These consecutive hours occurred between March 2008 and November 2012.
"We are extremely proud of the entire associate team at our Creedmoor facility and this significant achievement demonstrates the utmost importance Altec associates place on safety in the workplace," said Lee Styslinger III, chairman and CEO of Altec, Inc. "Safety is our highest priority and Altec remains committed to fostering a safe work environment across all our facilities."
To honor the achievement, an award will be presented by the North Carolina Commissioner of Labor, Cherie Berry, at the annual Safety Award Banquet.
