Bronto Skylift Oy Ab has named Harry ClayhiIls as its new managing director, following the retirement of Esa Peltola, who had been with the company for more than 45 years.
A subsidiary of Federal Signal Corporation, Bronto Skylift is headquartered in Tampere, Finland, with locations in Orlando, Fla., and throughout the world.
Clayhills rejoins the Federal Signal organization, where he began in 1996 as an auditor in its corporate offices. He continued to assume roles of increasing responsibility throughout a six-year career with the company, culminating in the position of Fire Rescue Group director of European operations.
Clayhills has built a record of success in multi-national corporations and small businesses across Europe and the United States. His experience in heavy-equipment manufacturing provides a strong foundation to lead Bronto Skylift and continue its worldwide success.
He served most recently as managing director of Reka kaapeli Oy, a manufacturer of electrical cable in Hyvinkää, Finland. His experience also includes positions in the Marrioff Corporation Oy, a leading provider of water-mist fire protection that is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation; Vaitra Oy, a tractor manufacturer in Finland that is part of AGCO Corporation; and Vestas-America Wind Technology, Inc.
Clayhills holds a master's degree in finance and investment from the Swedish School of Economics, Helsinki, Finland, and is fluent in Finnish, English, and Swedish.
