London-based aid and development agency CARE International will host its third CARE Construction Challenge on June 30, 2012, on Purbeck peninsula on the south coast of England.
Open to teams from every level of construction from architecture to property sale, participants will complete a marathon on foot, bike and kayak. The day will finish with a dinner and celebrations in Bournemouth, where awards will be presented to winners. All funds raised will support CARE International.
CARE fights poverty and responds to humanitarian emergencies such as drought, famine, floods, earthquakes and conflict by providing disaster relief to communities and buying materials locally where possible. The CARE Construction Challenge is supported by corporate partner Costain Group PLC.
