City Wide Building Services, Dallas, Texas, has added an 85’ Bluelift B85 Combo to its rental fleet.
The new compact tracked lift came from Ruthmann Reachmaster, Porter, Texas, the exclusive Bluelift importer for North America.
The Bluelift B85 Combo is the latest addition to the City Wide’s fleet of compact lifts from Ruthmann Reachmaster. It is an important tool for the company, which specializes in access- and reach-challenging building services and maintenance throughout central Texas.
“The B85 Combo offers both lithium battery power for indoor use and a reliable Honda engine for outdoor use,” said Ebbe Christensen, president of Ruthmann ReachMaster. “Equivalently important are the ultra-compact dimensions of the unit. It is about 4’ shorter than any comparative unit, only 38” wide, and 6’6” inches tall.”
Christensen said that the compactness lets the B85 fit where no other lift with 85’ work height can. He noted that City Wide ordered an additional single-man basket that lets them get into very tight spaces.
City Wide’s John Fennel said the company already has lined up jobs for its new Bluelift. “When we confirmed that the unit had arrived at Ruthmann Reachmaster’s facility near Houston, we immediately took the 4-hour drive to pick it up. While we drove down from Dallas, the Ruthmann Reachmaster guys performed their tests and PDI on the unit. We’ll have it on its first job Monday.” said Fennel.
