A safety harness saved a worker from serious injury when he was ejected from an aerial lift by the impact of a tractor-trailer truck. The worker was in the bucket of a truck-mounted aerial lift to work on traffic lights in Shenango Township, Pa., when the semi ran into the bucket. Although the impact threw the worker out, his safety harness kept him from falling to the ground. He was taken to the hospital with only minor injuries. Police plan to cite the tractor-trailer truck’s driver for careless driving. - www.wytv.com
