Craig Hayward, president of Baltimore, Md.-based Indusco Group, has announced the passing of Henry “Sonny” Schloss after a long illness. Schloss died July 1 at the age of 86.
“As many of you know, Henry cherished his relationships with Indusco customers, employees, vendors and business associates throughout his 60-plus years in the industry,” Hayward said in a statement. “Henry’s business accomplishments were many. It was his drive, determination and vision that created The Indusco Group as it exists today.”
According to Hayward, Schloss developed key vendor relationships, built industry friendships across the country and was a pioneer of the rigging and wholesale importing business in the United States.
“Henry’s keen vision and business acumen were second to none, with all of his successes centered on lifelong relationships,” Hayward said.
