JLG Industries has made updates to its ES and RT scissor lift lines to improve durability, the ability to repair the machine, and reduce weight for certain models.
The platforms and deck extension surfaces for all ES models have been upgraded to diamond plate steel. A locking foot lever has replaced the rail-mounted locking handles for deploying the extension.
Two models, the 2030ES and 2630ES scissor lifts, have been widened from 30 to 32 inches. Accordingly, the model names have been changed to 2032ES and 2632ES. The wider footprint leads to a lighter machine with better weight displacement.
Additionally, all of JLG’s RT scissors now feature steel hoods for added strength and durability, and they are easier to repair if damaged.
The improvements apply to these products worldwide.
