Manitex International Inc. has been listed No.44 on Forbes Magazine's list of America's Best Small Companies. This is the company's second time in a row being named to the list. This list is meant to present "an annual ranking of America's Best Small Companies that have experienced strong growth over the past five years. The 2013 list highlights public companies with sales under $1 billion, which are ranked based on return on equity, sales growth and earnings growth over the past year and the past five years."
Additionally, Manitex's shares were up 53% year-to-date in through Sept. 2013; stock performance is a factor Forbes also considers for the ranking.
