Omaha Standard Palfinger, Council Bluffs, Iowa, has named Jim Brown as its new vice president of commercial products, overseeing engineering and customer activities related to Omaha Standard Palfinger branded products.
As the "voice of the customer," Brown will continue to lead the company's new-product development and also manage all commercial aspects of OSP's business.
Before his recent promotion, Brown had been commercial manager for all Omaha Standard Palfinger branded products. Brown started his employment with Omaha Standard, Inc. in 2000 as an inside sales representative. In 2002, he was promoted to a regional management role. In 2009, Jim was named product manager over all Omaha Standard PALFINGER branded products.
