The American Society of Mechanical Engineers has announced the appointment of Mike Parnell, CEO of Industrial Training International, Woodland, Wash., as the ASME B30 Standards Committee Vice Chairman. In addition to his duties as vice chairman, Parnell serves as a voting member on the following ASME committees: B30.1, B30.7, B30.9, B30.19, and B30.26.
Parnell also serves as a board member for the Association of Crane and Rigging Professionals and the Boy Scouts of America. His 25 years consulting and developing training programs along with other educational activities in the crane and rigging industries has benefited thousands of people. He is recognized worldwide for his creative and innovative training methods to raise employee skill levels and promote safety and efficiency.
