For the construction and power utility industries, Reliable Equipment & Service Co., Ivyland, Pa., has introduced the R-CH-3000 and R-CH-6000 lever chain hoists. The R-CH Series lever hoists feature the ratchet and pawl design, where one pawl is always engaged during lifting and lowering operation to provide safe operation. The hoists may be rigged for use in lifting, pulling or binding applications from any position.
Featuring a lightweight and compact design, the hoists’ cast steel alloy construction protects against shock and fatigue. The 1.5-ton capacity R-CH-3000 chain hoist has 55.5 in. of lift, and the 3-ton capacity R-CH-6000 has 54 in. of lift. Custom lift lengths are available.
During operation, the safety hooks rotate 360° and feature spring latches to provide secure support and load connections. Redundant safety measures prevent handle rotation or chain release under load if the operator was to lose control of the handle.
