Sims Crane & Equipment has released a short video outlining safety tips for operating equipment near live power lines and other utilities.
Lasting just under 2½ minutes, the video combines animation with narration by Sims' Director of Safety, Bob Berry, to cover the most important points of safe operation around live utilities: making a walkaround assessment of the jobsite, maintaining constant awareness of surroundings, planning properly, and having good communication.
