The Steel Erectors Association of America is seeking participation in an industry-wide survey on successful falls from height in construction. A successful fall is defined as one where the worker was not injured and returned to work immediately.
The purpose of the survey is to understand the impact that training and fall-protection activities have on falls resulting in no injuries, and to assess the level of rescue training contractors are performing.
The 11-question survey is open to any steel-erection contractor, specialty contractor, or general contractor that employs craft workers who work at height.
The survey will close March 21.
