Trackunit Announces Cohen as Chairman of the Board

Sep. 5, 2019 - Trackunit announced the appointment of Franck Cohen as its new chairman of the board.

Cohen will spearhead Trackunit's strategy and business development with a strong focus on advancing the company’s technology stack and engaging with global industry leaders.

Trackunit has experienced massive growth in worldwide markets that hold immense potential for the company, and taking advantage of these market opportunities requires an experienced leader with strong strategic and analytic abilities. Cohen’s skillset complements Trackunit’s leadership and existing board of directors.

"Being recognized as a true market leader requires differentiation, innovative product development, and sustainable customer value. Franck Cohen is an obvious choice for leading Trackunit on this journey and mapping out our strategic direction," says Jorgen Raguse, CEO at Trackunit.

Cohen said, "Right now, I see Trackunit at a very attractive market position. We have come a long way, and to continue growth and strategic innovation requires strong decisions and a clear leadership. I look forward to be a part of this journey together with the board and the management team.”

Initiated by Trackunit, the Eliminate Downtime movement is focused on eliminating downtime in construction by 2025. One of the means to deliver on this promise is the use of advanced technology. With his heartfelt passion for AI and the potential of the technology, Cohen aims to help Trackunit work to move closer to reaching this goal.

Cohen comes from a recent position as president of SAP Digital Core & Industry Solutions at SAP, headquartered in Walldorf, Germany, and before that as president of SAP in EMEA for seven years. He is a leader in the global ERP industry with a deep knowledge of new and emerging technologies in digitalization and business management.
