Wesley International, Scottdale, Ga., will unveil an 8,000-pound tow vehicle at ProMat. The AC-powered electric vehicle will increase the towing capacity of Wesley’s Power Mule product line from 5,000 to 8,000 pounds.
“An 8,000-pound tugger enhances our ability to respond to the unique needs of our customers, says Steve Spires, president and CEO of Wesley International. The company specializes in custom engineered-to-order solutions. “This gives us another vehicle that can be further customized for customers who face the challenge of moving heavy loads,” Spires adds.
The unit is currently being tested. More details about the machine will be available at the show.
In addition to tow vehicles, Wesley now offers engineered-to-order industrial trailers. Each trailer is custom fabricated, according to the customer’s specifications. The trailers are steel constructed and equipped with diamond plate steel decks, solid black rubber wheels mounted on aluminum cast, and a spring-loaded pin hook. Expanded metal decks, solid non-marking pneumatic tires and cast iron pintle hooks are also available.
