Hundrup Expands Its Rental Fleet With the Palazzani Ragno XTJ 52+

Hundrup, a company in Germany for the rental of aerial platforms and construction equipment, has added the Palazzani Ragno XTJ 52+ to its fleet.

This powerful and versatile machine further strengthens Hundrup's position in the market.

A Strategic Move for Hundrup Arbeitsbühnen-Vermietung

For over 30 years, Hundrup Arbeitsbühnen-Vermietung has been a trusted name in the rental business, offering a wide range of machinery, including aerial platforms, cranes, forklifts and telehandlers.

Founded as a family business, the company has continually expanded its fleet to meet the dynamic demands of the market.

Today, with more than 350 machines, Hundrup provides high-quality solutions to clients in the construction, maintenance and infrastructure sectors.

In search of a tracked platform with over 131 feet (40 meters) of working height, Hundrup identified the Ragno XTJ 52+ as the ideal solution to enhance their capabilities, particularly for tasks requiring significant height and stability.

"After a day of testing at Palazzani, we were impressed by the performance of the XTJ 52+," Stefan Hundrup, CEO said.

"We found the ideal solution that allows us to expand our offering with a high reach tracked platform that delivers exceptional performance."

Why the Palazzani XTJ 52+?

The Ragno XTJ 52+ spider lift stands out for its exceptional performance, offering a working height of 170 feet (52 meters), a horizontal outreach of almost 64 feet (19.5 meters), and a maximum basket capacity of 881 pounds (400 kg).

Designed for maximum stability and precision, it operates well on challenging terrain.

In addition to its aerial platform functions, the XTJ 52+ can also function as a mobile crane, with a hydraulic winch capable of lifting up to 2,100 pounds (just over a U.S. ton).

This versatility makes it ideal for demanding sectors such as telecommunications and high-voltage line construction.

"We had long been searching for a Ragno platform with these features," Hundrup added.

"The XTJ 52+ not only meets our expectations but exceeds them, allowing us to expand the possibilities of use for our clients."

"Thanks to its versatility, this machine will be used for various applications," Hundrup continued.

"It will primarily be employed in high-voltage line construction, where height and stability are crucial for safe operation, as well as in telecommunications, where the hydraulic winch helps with installation and maintenance tasks."

A New Partnership Built on Innovation

Hundrup’s commitment to offering top-tier machinery aligns with Palazzani’s drive for innovation.

The company ensures proper maintenance and repair to guarantee maximum efficiency and safety.

They also operate an Intrnational Powered Access Federation-certified training center where operators are trained on the safe and effective use of platforms.

The collaboration between Hundrup and Palazzani is based on a shared focus on quality, safety and forward-thinking technology.

"We are thrilled to have entered in collaboration with Hundrup Arbeitsbühnen-Vermietung," Laura Gasparini – export sales manager at Palazzani Industrie said.

"It’s always a pleasure to communicate and deal to quality-oriented professionals. We are confident that the XTJ 52+ will be a key asset in helping them meet the increasing demands of their market and we’ll provide our best support to them."
