PALFINGER Expands Bucket Truck Lineup

PALFINGER has introduced the PB 38 AT P cable placer to its bucket truck lineup, designed to support fiber installation in the telecommunications industry.

The PB 38 AT P cable placer features a platform height of 38 feet, a working height of 43 feet and a side reach of more than 27 feet. The truck’s platform stowage allows access from the tailshelf or cargo area.

It also enables boom operation while the vehicle is in motion, reducing installation time for overhead telecommunications lines.

PALFINGER, which produces a range of insulated and non-insulated bucket trucks, assembles these vehicles at its Oklahoma City facility.

The company employs more than 200 workers in Oklahoma, including engineers, welders and technicians.

The PB 38 AT P cable placer is supported by PALFINGER's service network, which includes more than 100 mobile service technicians. The company states that its equipment is designed for low maintenance and serviceability to minimize downtime.

Other additional lifting solutions from PALFINGER include the Pal Pro 58 mechanics truck with a PSC 8600 TEC service crane, the Pal Pro 43 mechanics truck with a PSC 8029 crane and the HT 160 hooklift.

PALFINGER, which has operated for 93 years, continues to expand its bucket truck portfolio to meet demand in North America’s utility and telecommunications industries.
