Mark Woody, Palfinger Inc.’s president and vice president of sales and marketing – Americas, will retire March 31 after 25 years of service to the company.
Woody joined Palfinger Inc. in 1993, when the company’s Niagara Falls facility had about 11 employees. Today the company has about 1,000 employees across North America, including a core group that Woody has mentored since the beginning.
Woody’s contributions over the past quarter century include strengthening the company’s market position and creating local value in the Americas. He also has influenced the work truck industry significantly by serving on the NTEA board of trustees and by being the NTEA’s 50th president from 2014-2015.
“My time with Palfinger has been some of the most rewarding of my career,” said Woody. “I certainly believe that the future of the company is in excellent hands.”
Woody will be succeed as president of Palfinger Inc. by Tim Arkilander, who has been executive vice president of sales and business development since 2015. Arkilander brings more than 30 years of experience to his new position.
