ReachMaster Inc. received the global “2019 Dealer of the Year” award for its sales of the Bluelift product line from Ruthmann Italia in North America during the opening ceremony of the new Bluelift factory in Italy on Sep. 5.
ReachMaster Inc. has been the exclusive distributor of Bluelift’s compact track-based lifts in North America since 2010, marketing and selling the extensive portfolio of lift models from 39 – 101’ and pioneering the dual power concept for this category. All Bluelifts above 53’ work height can have the combination of a gas/diesel engine and lithium battery pack.
Ebbe Christensen, president and owner of ReachMaster Inc., explains “The so-called combo configuration with true dual power options that we initially launched on the Bluelift B72 several years back proved to be truly a new benchmark for the category. Combined with the ultra-compact format, the concept has really spearheaded the Bluelift sales in North America to a point where 90% of all models sold today are delivered in this configuration.”
Last year, Bluelift and ReachMaster were the first providers in the market of an anti-entrapment system for the category. This year, their new Bluelift B35-EB concept, a 35’ working height lift with a patent-pending elevator system that allow operators to work safely below level over balconies and handrails, has been nominated for several industry awards. This unit can shrink down to a mere 7’, 8” length that fits in regular elevators. “It is this type of ongoing and never-ending innovation that makes the Bluelift line so exciting and inspiring to work with,” comments Christensen.
